Relax

Delivered by a specially trained, qualified and insured Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, and with a BA (Hons) in Childhood and Youth studies, these sessions are fun, whilst also promoting healthy growth and cognitive development. Yoga and Mindfulness for children and young people is also proven to benefit behaviour and emotion regulation, whilst equipping young people with techniques and practices to support their mental and physical wellbeing right into adulthood.

Our provision is devised to support SEND children to express themselves and look at celebrating uniqueness and strengthening self-worth. As a physical activity and creative art form, our provision can make a vital contribution to the healthy living agenda. It has the capacity to provide an active non-competitive form of exercise that can positively affect physical health and psychological well-being across different populations in our community. We provide weekly session plans along with a well-being measuring tool pack to be completed by the families prior and during delivery to monitor and measure impact. We also provide participant and parent feedback sheets to be completed to support the overall impact assessment.
